Sharon Hess Herrick is an active community leader in Pensacola and the surrounding areas. Her early career experience with a variety of local businesses including her family’s boating business, Hess Marine, provided her with firsthand knowledge of the art of negotiating and solidified her commitment to serving others and doing business with both skill and integrity.

Sharon has resided in the East Hill area of Pensacola since 1984 and has extensive knowledge of all surrounding areas including Downtown Pensacola, North Hill, Cordova, Milton, West Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and all other parts of both Escambia and Santa Rosa County. As a native Pensacolian with 36 years of experience in banking and real estate, Sharon has gained a reputation for hard work, integrity, and in-depth knowledge of the local market. Sharon earned a Finance Degree, BSM, from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of West Florida. Sharon is well versed in consulting clients on inherited property, estate liquidation, highest and best use analysis, market pricing, land development, zoning issues and many other facets of real estate and financing issues.

Today Sharon holds an incredible portfolio of engagement in the Pensacola area. She is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida and Alabama and a member of many nationally and locally acclaimed organizations including the National Association of Realtors, the Pensacola Association of Realtors, the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce, the Gulf Coast Commercial MLS, and is a Leadership Pensacola Alumni (Class of 1984). Elsewhere in the community, Sharon is the Vice President of the Baptist Health Care Foundation, and also serves as a Board Member and volunteer for a variety of local foundations and organization including Pensacola State College and Fiesta of Five Flags.

In addition to her volunteer work, Sharon has developed Sea Pines Subdivision, a 59-lot gated waterfront community on Garcon Point, in East Bay. She and her husband, Doug Herrick, also own and operate two successful Pensacola area businesses: SunFarm Energy, a solar design and installation company that was established in 2010, and Coastal ICF (installers of Insulated Concrete Forms) construction since 2001.

Sharon’s broad base of knowledge has benefited many clients throughout the years, and adds to her reputation as a fierce community leader. When she’s not working, you’ll find Sharon scouting out estate sales or spending time with her teenage daughter.
